Meet Our Team

Gary Bulfinch

Gary started his career in the heating and air conditioning trade in 1967. First as an apprentice, then graduating to Journeyman Service Technician, and eventually Service Manager with one of Sacramento’s oldest and most respected firms. During that time, he also obtained a degree in mechanical technology by attending college at night.

In 1980, Gary with partner Rick Julian opened Garick (Gary & Rick) Air Conditioning Service. Their goal was to provide honest and professional home comfort maintenance, repairs, and installation for their Sacramento neighbors. Since Rick’s untimely death in 2002, Gary has been the sole owner and operator.

With over 40 years in business, Garick is proud to be one of Sacramento’s oldest HVAC firms still operating under its original local ownership. The original goal remains the same: honest and professional heating and cooling for our Sacramento neighbors.

Warren Wright

Warren has been involved in the home comfort industry for nearly 30 years and has been with Garick since 1999. He is considered to be one of Sacramento's most trusted experts in residential HVAC comfort applications. Warren brings to us a wealth of knowledge to provide practical solutions for all types of heating, cooling, and indoor air quality challenges. Plus the design experience to make your home more comfortable and energy efficient.

Service and Installation Specialist

Kurtis Hardesty

Kurtis has extensive installation and service experience. He has been our lead installer here at Garick since 2007 and he is one of only a few technicians in the Sacramento area who has been specially trained to perform both service and installation of ductless mini-split style equipment. He is also our ductwork and indoor air quality specialist. Kurtis always brings a professional approach to any project. If you have a repair or ductwork challenge, Kurtis can solve it!
